ABOUT ME

I am an experienced researcher and community facilitator with a passion for working in the not-for-profit sector. I have over 7 years of experience working as a freelance consultant and over 10 years of experience as a facilitator, primarily in the not-for-profit domain, either as a volunteer or through paid employment.

My studies led me to program management in rural Peru, and extensive research, facilitation, evaluation, and leadership experience. I work in English, Spanish, and 'Franglais'.

I am fascinated by the unique and interconnected nature of individuals and cultures and strives to continuously learn from the world around me. I am committed to the principles of

anti-oppression and have focused a great part of my career working with youth, newcomers, and women.

On my free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction, painting, listening to podcasts, travel planning, and spending time with my husband.

Life has given me multiple opportunities to reinvent myself, including recovering from two brain injuries. I understand that undesired and unplanned change can be incredibly hard but I also believe it can be a source of opportunity.
